Possible New Logo.

I am in the process of getting an official logo for my business. I've had the three above designed (same but with different colors). I don't know if I like them or not. I don't know if they really represent my work or not.

At first impression I really liked the design. But the more I'm thinking the more I think I'd like something more sophisticated and these seem a little.........i don't know. hmmmm

Input is greatly appreciated! The designer is so nice and she's made about 5 changes so far. Should I ask her to go back to the drawing board? *sigh* I just don't know. The more I look the more I can't decide.

I guess I am just waiting for the "aha! That's it!" feeling.

  1. I'll be totally honest babe, I'm not in love either. The middle one is my favorite but it doesn't really seem *you*. Meh...I would like to see you go a little less...girly? and more sophisticated and dramatic. But of course it's not about what I think!

  2. I think they are all lovely! I don't really know your work though, so I'll instead describe the feelings I get from those logos? I see some kind of earthy in there, feminine, some fun and whimsy thrown in.. especially the middle one screams "green" to me, but they all kind of have that vibe. Does that help? :)

  3. I don't know... They do remind me of your style, but it feels like it's missing something. Of course I'm no help because I can't tell you what....I like the last one the best. I think if you're not feeling it, you should have the designer keep working until you get something you are thrilled with. Good luck!

  4. I say - if you don't love them - move on. I think you might want to try again. I like the logo and I like your work. Not sure they match.

  5. I LOVE the design - especially the first one. I think it matches your blog really well and it's really cute and clean.

But, we're not talking about your blog, right? We're talking about your jewelry? I don't think it depicts your jewelry well. I know you feel bad telling the designer it's not what you had in mind but if you're paying you should get what you want! ;)

  6. Being a graphic designer myself I'd have to say that it's really hard to come up with something for someone unless they are REALLY clear on what they want. If you haven't, you should send your designer some examples of you like AND examples of what you don't like. As far as these logos, I'd say the colors are nice and I like the font but perhaps the flowers are bit busy - what if it were just one flower or maybe if they were less overlapped. But that's just me!
